“Whether one believes in a religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn’t anyone who doesn’t appreciate kindness and compassion.” – Dalai Lama
This was taken on a group trip to Thailand 2 years ago. One of the lawyers in the office has recently came back from a trip from Thailand and was telling stories of his adventures this morning. It reminded me of stay over there. We spent a couple of days at one of the monastaries to experience and take a little journey of a monk’s life. For that moment of time, we had to surrender everything that had value to us as we found the inner peace of ourselves through meditation and appreciation of everything that was of nature. To tell you the truth, this experience was one of the most peaceful and calm time of my life. The monks here were also generously kind and compassionate towards visiting tourists, guests and fellow monks. I want to visit Thailand again one day, especially the monastery and meditation centers.
